Your bedroom at the Oaks has a queen size bed, dresser, ensuite 3 piece bath and walk-in closet.   Of course, all linens are provided and you will have easy access to the laundry room which is shared with the rest of our home.

The Oaks common room is equipped with bar fridge, microwave, convection/toaster oven, two burner hotplate, crock pot, coffee maker and grinder, dishes, cutlery, electric frying pan, wok, cooking utensils and all the other things you might want (including cookbooks and spices).  There is also a barbecue available for your use.  We love to cook and figure that you should have everything you need in case you do too.  You will find flour, salt, pepper, spices, sugar, coffee & tea, milk, fruit, bread, breakfast cereals, and lots of other "essentials" to get you started.  You will even find  candles for those romantic evenings.

Washer, dryer, ironing board and iron are in the common area.

For your entertainment the Oaks is equipped with a colour TV and stereo hi-fi VCR (both on cable service), CD player, tape deck and receiver.  A bookcase is filled with novels for your pleasure.   There are also cards, games and puzzles, so you can have fun even if it rains!

The Oaks has a private telephone line for your convenience.  You can make free local calls, or modem onto the Internet via your laptop or notebook.  Long distance calls may be made by credit card.  We will give you the number on booking confirmation so that you can also receive calls from family and friends. High speed cable Internet access is also available for a nominal charge.

To help you get around and make the most of your stay in beautiful Victoria, we will provide you with current maps, publications, and information on current events.

Traveling with little ones?  Cribs, highchairs, car-seats, playpens, strollers, roll-away beds and other items are available on request for a small rental fee.  Just ask us.
